The Nevada State Board of Nursing recognizes two RN degrees. As a general rule an RN can expect to provide emergency medical care, administer medication and injections, create treatment plans for patients, perform diagnostic test procedures and supervise LPNs and CNAs. Both of these RN degree options will allow graduates to write the NCLEX-RN exam. Graduates who have at least a BSN degree have better employment opportunities available after finishing school.
