Our listings include associate pathways at Central Maine and Southern Maine community colleges, bachelor’s study at UMaine, UMA, and USM, and online degree completion at USM and UMFK. Multi-location programs appear as one record unless we have separately researched each campus. A school’s mailing address may not be where all your teaching or clinical attendance occurs.
Plan the clinical commute
For a regional program, ask which lab site serves your cohort and where clinical placements are assigned. Include travel time and any early or late clinical shifts in your weekly plan. Confirm that a location is available for the term you intend to enter; regional offerings can change.
Separate first licensure from continuing education
Choose an associate, traditional BSN, or appropriate accelerated prelicensure pathway if you are seeking your initial RN preparation. RN-to-BSN options assume prior nursing education and licensure. Our selected graduate listings include nursing education, leadership, family nurse practitioner, and DNP study at USM; these routes have different admission and practice requirements.
