CT State’s registered nursing program is listed here once, with its six teaching campuses identified: Capital, Gateway, Naugatuck Valley, Northwestern, Norwalk, and Three Rivers. Compare first-degree and second-degree options
UConn’s traditional BS is based in Storrs; its accelerated CEIN route is a separate program for people with a previous bachelor’s. Southern Connecticut State offers an accelerated BSN with a nursing sequence described as 12 months excluding prerequisites. Central Connecticut’s traditional BSN is another first-degree option. Goodwin’s associate program adds a part-time nursing sequence; prerequisite study comes before that sequence and adds to total time.

Central Connecticut’s RN-to-BSN has online nursing classes and community practice experiences. Ask how those experiences are arranged and which license is required. For prelicensure study, consult Connecticut DPH and the school’s disclosure. If you plan to practice elsewhere, confirm requirements with the destination nursing board before enrolling.
